The answer’s not as elusive as it may seem. It takes little more than a certain fearlessness and stripping the I naked- half-seeking and half-invoking a small corner of the universe, painting it with truth and wonder, and in an act of will taking a step to inhabit that space, then another. Thank you- that’s quite the sunrise! What was I saying about paint?

I think this is accurate and wonderful.... except that it is finite for the individual even though it is perpetual in general. It leaves open the mystery of what happens after death... and people seek answers to that.
