Every time I read something about going back to - or trying rekindle - a past relationship, the same words come to me. As odd as it may seem, it's from the movie 'Patton' (circa 1970). With regard to temporarily retreating, General Patton says "Never pay for the same real estate twice." I'd wager 99.99% of the time when people discuss the possibility of 'going back', they know it's a bad idea. Yes there's 'that draw' .... which is akin to Sirens luring sailors to destruction. As your verbiage indicates, you know there wouldn't be a happy ending to any reunion. Resist the Sirens. Make Women Female Again

Well said Natalie it is never easy to end a relationship. I imagine even harder if you have such a strong desire to serve and please.

Yeah, that's a tough one. Unless the reason(s) it didn't work the first time has changed or the person has changed, it feels good when together, but is only short lived.

And The Sinner isn't on Netflix for a while, but there's Ambrose to look forward to. That's a shame , it's going to be a good one. I promise no spoilers.
