Chipped windshield

57 years of driving and I've never had a chipped or broken windshield, ...
until now.
On my yearly trip down to my Florida home, I was passing a large truck and something hit the windshield. Thankfully only a chip.
Safelite is scheduled to repair it next week. No cost to me.
The first claim I've had to make on my auto insurance in over 30 years.
I don't feel guilty, they owe it to me. LOL
Have a great day everyone.

I'll make up for my small misfortune by enjoying the sunny days on the free state of Florida.

I know that they say a chip can spread, but I've had one for 10-12 years or more on my pickup's windshield, and it's never changed. And insurance is a racket.

Thanks for your comment. I'll take it under advisement.
But for now, I'll just let the insurance pay for the repair.
Have a great day.

fyi anyone with a newer car.. please avoid following close to any large vehicle..

all your fancy seniors that you adore are in your windshield..... get a crack in it and now it's gonna cost you 5oo, 600 dollars to replace it...
