How old is too old? Mine has always been bondage. Early in life I fantasized about being tied up. In my middle years I practiced self-bondage. And finally in my 60's I experienced it with another enthusiast. Now I'm in my 70's and physical and medical issues have come into play, I find myself in a conundrum. Still desiring to play but unable to find a partner. Does anyone else find themselves in a similar situation? |

Yeah finding a partner when you get to our age bracket is difficult but not impossible. There are many out there a lot younger than us that want to get into this lifestyle, so rather than look for something longer term or exclusive, try looking for the newer members who want to learn. Age should not be stopping you, but medical and physical issues will prevent you playing like in your younger days, so tailor our activities to how you can play in your current condition. Me, in my younger days wanted exclusive but now that I have hit 70, I am willing to share my subs, that way, they get my knowledge to learn, I get my jollies and the sub gets the more physical from the others I share with, who in most instances are about 15 or 20 years younger than I am. I do have some subs that I play with casually that are in their 20s and 30s and wanting to learn. I know that long term is out of the question these days but if you find the right sub, they do find having an old guy with the right attitude, fun.

Sadly many subs are expecting a stud in the bedroom. Their conception of that stud is that he should be in the 20-40 age range depending on their age and other preferences. Old school Doms who stand for respect are being outclassed by young wham bam doms who have no clue how to spell respect, let alone know what it means. Worlds been taken over by idiots who'd rather assume your into exactly what they want, without reading your profile. Now I realize you are a sub, who is looking for a Dominant play partner and unless you find a man or lady in their later seasons, I think you'll struggle to get somewhere even in a target rich environment like the US. Of course a lot of 'BDSM practitioners' are scammers and its difficult enough without them adding complications to your search. I have often thought about giving up, as all I get are ignorant people who refuse to educate themselves. You mention a common health condition and their response is, "whats that"... not hard in the day and age to google health complaint 1. Too much effort to engage your brain these days, infact I think the instruction manual for all those cogs and wheels that run the thing, have been lost to an online manual, no one can find. Got to push on, keep sifting through the trash, eventually you'll find that special Master or Mistress, who'll appreciate and give a sh*t about your health concerns, adapt their playbook and you'll wind away your senior years, chained to a wall somewhere =) Don't let the w*nkers win.

I’m 70++ and still enjoy a bit of bondage play. Not into BDSM just being in bondage. Normally with my husband but have met a few like minded in the recent past. (See profile pic).

age should not be an issue in and of itself. health reasons can be corrected for. problem is finding a non-scammer to play with

The issue isn't age..I love older... But I've honestly run into that weird time period in life.. Can't hang with the young and... Omg all the older are retired,have time on their hands,want all my spare time and I'm still working 45 hrs a week at 55 yrs old.. Plus there is that level of distrust from those older...they act like I'm some 20 something catfisher or only girl dude looking for money.. Cause..????? A 55 yr old can't enjoy older??? I think the main issue your gonna run into is... At a certain age people are already paired up... That is why one has to be more open minded...one might try couples or even guys
