Hypocrisy Many members continue to make controversial comments on the website. Yet they are afraid to include a personal picture of themselves. What are they afraid of? Some are complete fakes. Some are public figures who want to remain anonymous. Some are gov't employees who fear being on ALT would jeopardize their employment. I understand all these reasons, but I challenge these members to accept the persona they have adopted and be honest with the other ALT members. Your comments are welcome. |

How people craft their profiles is their choice, not yours. Assuming their fears or need for anonymity is none of your business and your misguided challenge is nothing more that bullying. You are not the profile police and this is certainly not E-harmony. You might want to look up hypocrisy because it has nothing to do with what your blog discusses.

Uneducated and not willing to learn

Chuckles..it honestly would be different if those that blog were alt employees. Not only aren't we compensated for our works,those blog post become the intellectual property of the site owner. Said company has 4 or 5 sister sites in Asia that borrows our content and uses it to float these sites. Under those circumstances it's really wrong to call out a blogger for not showing themselves in a profile pic.. And as AI improves and more companies start to use internet scans and facial recognition software, can you blame a person for not being upfront. I'm different..I stated numerous times I drive a truck..I'm single... Nobody is gonna give a dick if someone " outs" me..It's NOT gonna stop a company from hiring me.. So yes I can be more exposed..I can belong to real life groups.. I can post ads,I can post my own pics.. And I can blog... Others cant
