Uncle Milty is coming to town

16 hours from now Hurricane Milton is supposed to come ashore in SWFL.
There is a high probability that I'll lose power and internet, so I may be dark for a while.
I weathered a direct hit from Hurricane Ian (Cat 4)) 2 years ago with only minor damage.
I hope the result is no worse this time around. We'll see.
I've done all the preparation that has been advised.
Good luck to everyone.

Good luck to us all. Same boat here, except due to a recent surgery, i wasn't able to board up, so we have a front row seat to watch the winds blow and waves of rain. I have been here since Charley and all that followed. This think is NOT going to blow me away LOL. Be safe all and hope one day to meet

Stay safe.

Find one of those secured shelters I've heard about. Don't push your luck with this one.

Thank you for your wish of good luck.
It doesn't appear I will need it as much as the folks in the Tampa area.
I hope all of those people did as was advised and got out in time.

Yes, except Uncle Milty (Milton Berle) died on 27 March 2002. That would equate to this storm being the weakest and most negligible hurricane ever recorded. LOL.
