The progressive princess's running mate looked like a deer in the headlights during the VP debate.
Anyone who is stupid enough to vote for these losers should have their head examined.

Neil Diamond wrote in nis song "I am I said"

L.A.'s fine, the sun shines most the time
And the feeling is "lay back"
Palm trees grow and rents are low
But you know I keep thinkin' about
Making my way back

[Pre-Chorus 1]
Well I'm New York City born and raised
But nowadays, I'm lost between two shores
L.A.'s fine, but it ain't home
New York's home, but it ain't mine no more

It is the same for liberals and conservatives.
I feel the same way.
I'm a NYS transport to FL.
I'm not sorry I made the transition.

NYS is a liberal hell hole. I hope it changes someday.

The hurricane is out in the Gulf, but every so often I get pummeled with high winds and torrential rain. Ft. Myers will be spared ... this time.

Whenever I buy something online, visit my doctor, have a health test done, etc., etc., etc.
I get a survey inquiry by text asking me how I would rate them.
I never reply, because if I was truly dissatisfied with the service, I would surely make it known to them.
Their customers must feel obligated to respond with the highest ratings.
What a scam.
Any comments???

Now it seems that even though I get a hot list, I can't view it.

I keep getting flirt alerts, but when I check it says that I haven't received any flirts.
I'm not a paying member, is that the problem?

Chipped windshield

57 years of driving and I've never had a chipped or broken windshield, ...
until now.
On my yearly trip down to my Florida home, I was passing a large truck and something hit the windshield. Thankfully only a chip.
Safelite is scheduled to repair it next week. No cost to me.
The first claim I've had to make on my auto insurance in over 30 years.
I don't feel guilty, they owe it to me. LOL
Have a great day everyone.

Growing Up In The Segregated North

Born in 1951 in WNY, I was pretty much isolated from less fortunate people.
My grandparents were immigrants (legal) and came at a time when there weren't all the gov't programs to assist them.
Maternal and paternal ancestors managed to provide for my parents and in turn my parents provided for their offspring.
In the 1950's and 1960's there was a large shift of poor African Americans seeking work not available to them in the south. I can't blame them.
My elementary school days were isolated from the poor.
However, when I entered Junior High School (now called Middle School) that changed.
One memory from the time was when I was in gym class, there were no lockers at the time and the students hung their clothes on hooks.
On a couple of occasions, someone took various articles of mine and left what I assume were theirs.
I never reported the substitutions to the gym teacher because I didn't want to get anyone else in trouble. Also, I didn't want to be labeled a snitch with my classmates.
My mother, a very fastidious person, never mentioned it to me when she noticed the soiled and ripped garments.
She simply replaced my missing garb.
This was my first realization of the stratification of our society.
