Of Top/Bottom vs Dom/Sub

This is a topic that I still some people having a bit of difficulty understanding and grasping. It is very understandable for beginners (although I have seen seemingly experienced folks too) to often confuse the concepts of Top and Dom, and bottom and sub since in many cases and instances, for practical purposes, they may be mean the same, but each of these terms are fundamentally different. I have seen these terms being addressed in the past by some of the most prolific bloggers here, most of them explaining this differences very well so I didn't think I could explain it that much better. However, very recently, I ran across this image while surfing online. I feel that it breaks down these concepts quite clear and well so I figured I'd share it. Some folks may be more visual after all. Hope it helps.

July 26th - August 11th
Very few events flare and ignite both, patriotism and bringing humanity together as the Olympics. Here is at hoping that these Olympics somehow help to heal and cool down some of the sad situations occurring around the world, even our respective internal counties’ turmoil. Let’s put aside our differences for a couple of weeks and let's join together to celebrate our athletes. Long live the Olympic dream.

I miss the butterflies

Often underappreciated and taken for granted, kissing (along with caressing) is the most common way of showing affection. Even other living species express their caring this way. However, some times for us, humans, the excitement of a kiss can be overwhelmed my our primal craze for sex and other forms of debauchery. I love kissing, and Im pretty sure that most of you, if not all, like it too. Where would we be without it? I mean literally... I probably would not have been born if dad had not kissed mom.

While in general I consider myself a bit of a Switch, of late I have begun lean over the role submissive. Years ago I looked down at the role, and even under appreciate. Today, I look back and realize my opinion was based on lack of experience and fear of my own repressions. I know I could never be a slave - I'm just too hard headed - but I have learned to appreciate, and even embrace the role as service provides me so much joy and and needed balance.
