A blog has been suggested by more than one.

Will start off with a quote on my main profile...

UPDATE 5-23-2023
It's time to follow my own belief of "change is good". As my 64th birthday approaches I have thought a lot about my submission. The only time I have found peace in my life is when I am submitting to my Dom. The ongoing search to find a quality Dom has been long. Notice I don't use the word real. As all Dom's are different in their approaches, beliefs and kinks. Please do not contact me if you are married or attached.

I seek a Dom who is capable of emotional connection and desire to share trust, one-on-one, in commitment. I'll accept nothing less. Whether engaged in daily vanilla, or suddenly thrust into willing obedience, I look for meaningful belonging...

What a Thursday night game!

Most Thursday night games leave a lot to be desired. Not tonight though. A back and
forth affair with both teams moving down the field at will.

It surely seemed like Tampa Bay had the advantage over Atlanta from the beginning.
But like I have said before that is why they play the game. Kirk Cousins for Atlanta
threw for 509 yards tonight! The highest of this new season. And Atlanta wins 36 to 30 in overtime.

For me though I had a blast. I used my last $7 on a 6-way parley that I hit. And took a
free promo bet of $10 and hit a 3-way parley with that. For the bettors out there, you know how hard this is to do. I loved that football game.

It's that time of year again. The Albuquerque International Balloon Festival will be underway Saturday October 5th through Sunday October 13. For those who say, I don't care about balloons. I used to feel the same way before I went.

Here are some facts to know...
1. The first balloon event was in 1972.
2. It's a fact; most photographed event in the world.
3. ABQ has ideal flying conditions called the "box". Where balloons can take off from
low altitudes drifting south, then when altitude increases, they drift north.
4. Over 500 balloons fly each year with pilots from 50 countries represented.
5. A typical balloon flight will last between 45 minutes to 2 hours.
6. What goes up must come down. Balloons land all over the city. On golf courses, roads, yards, and sometimes power lines. There will be a few accidents every year.
7. The cost of a plain balloon is at least $ 25,000. The special shape balloons can cost over $200,000.

The mass ascension is done daily through the festival, weather permitting. The winds must be low for the balloons to fly. As the weekend gets closer though more balloons are in the sky sometimes in the hundreds. A sight you will never see anywhere else. You can walk on the field as balloons are filling up, before they take off. Where they are instructed by "zebras" in referee shirts who direct traffic. And where you can get a up close and personal photo opportunity.

Of course the park sells food, drinks, and clothes. And anything balloon related especially pins. Which is a big deal itself. Pin trading is a actual thing. As every year there are new ones. My favorites are my bees family and breaking bad pins.

Just look at the pictures and realize what a truly amazing event this is...

Good Girl...

The picture sums it up quite nicely.

You either know what it means and have experienced it, or you want to
experience it.

In my mind. The problem with the phrase is it's used quite frequently in chatting. So, it loses a lot of its meaning.

A Dom calling me a good girl after a few conversations is just words. It doesn't
make my body tingle or draw my mind towards his. It usually just makes me uncomfortable. As he is trying to get too familiar to quickly with me.

Being called a "good girl" has a deep meaning for me. It is making my Dom proud
of me or my actions towards him.

A poser Dom just uses the phrase as a manipulation technique in my experience.

So... Please do not bring up the phrase "good girl" casually to me. As it will not be appreciated.

The Cowboys who could only amount a comeback at home in the 4th quarter. Scoring 19 points when the Ravens let their foot off the gas.

Or the NY Giants who went into Cleveland and were ahead the whole game. Even though they could not score any points in the second half.

Both teams are 1-2.

The Cowboys have won 6 in a row against the Giants. And are favored by 4 1/2 points.

But... the Cowboys have not stopped the run so far this season. And NY can run the ball.

A short week for both teams, on the road for the Cowboys, unlucky number 7, if not now when??

pac is taking the Giants in the upset!!

Brett Favre confirms Parkinson's disease.

He told a congressional hearing Tuesday that he had recently been diagnosed.

Parkinson's is a progressive neurological disorder that primarily affects movement. It occurs when nerve cells in the brain don't produce enough dopamine, a chemical that helps control movement.

The symptoms generally include tremors that usually start in the hands, slowness of movement, stiffness in the limbs and trunk, which can limit range of movement and cause pain. Impaired balance leading to falls and slurred speech.

It usually appears after age 60 and is actually more common in men. With most experts believing genetic and environmental factors are the main cause. Yet other factors such as head injuries are possible. Favre actually said in a 2022 radio interview that he estimates he may have experienced "thousands" of concussions in his 2 decades in the NFL.

My aunt has had Parkinsons for many years. Her symptoms have progressed rapidly since she stopped working. While medication can help progression there is no cure for this disease. And eventually she will not be able to take care of herself anymore.

I wonder if Favre's symptoms will progress faster due to the damage in his head. He was my favorite QB for many years. But he played with a reckless abandon that was often scary. I hope he has many years of quality living still left!

I am a beard snob!

When did these long beards become such a thing? Was it a Duck Dynasty thing? Or something else. How is it working for you? Are there actual woman who really like them? I really would like to know...

Even if you have nice, styled hair to go with the beard. I just find it unattractive. What are you hiding with all that hair?

When I can't even see or find your lips it's a problem for me. The thought of all that hair on my face, neck, and the rest of my body is just, ewe! I wish I did not feel that way. But I don't even like excessive pubic hair. So there it is...

It's just a fact we are all judged for our appearances. And I have not given several Dom's a chance who have this excessive beard hair. Unless your beard is short, neat and trimmed. You probably want to contact other subs...

A mentor question...

Would you consider a dominant or even a submissive mentor for that matter? This might not apply to your life now. But did it earlier in the lifestyle? When you were finding your own way.

SOMEONE - Who will learn the good, bad and ugly about you so to speak.

SOMEONE - Who will not judge you because of your past actions, mistakes and failures.

SOMEONE - Who sees more in you. The potential and possibilities for you to succeed and find what you seek.

SOMEONE - Who will always be in your corner. But will also tell you like it is. No matter how hard it is hear.

SOMEONE- Who will invest their time and energy towards you seems important to me.

SOMEONE- Who's dominant nature will always be apparent. Is something to appreciate not shy away from.

SOMEONE- Was like that for me a couple of years ago. And now I wish I had learned more from him. But his own happiness with an unlikely but perfect sub drew him away from me as expected.

Opportunities like this in the lifestyle are limited at best. As most are caught up in their own lives.
But... if a mentorship was offered, would you take it??
