i have a friend of over 40+ years who is a die hard Trmp fan. in fact, we've had so many disagreements over this, he gets ticked off at me and won't talk to me for months. weve done this dance off and on for years. i was genuinely surprised when we chatted a bit yesterday when he said to me:
him: I hate trmp so I wanna be friends (with me)
me: i thought you loved trup
him: Don’t care anymore they’re evil fucking corrupt bastards
me: they all are
him: Ever since the Epstein files confirmed
this man was a DIE HARD fan....i was like WHAT?
he turned around. he saw the light. he showed he knew right from wrong.
im proud of him.
sidenote: im not an idiot, i know how to spell, just changing it up so it doesnt get stuck or denied

voted for him 3 times because I do not believe the person who ran against him was better. do i like everything he says, HELL NO. I try very hard to respect everyones opinion even if i disagree. Would like to meet you in person over lunch or dinner and get to know you better. Any thoughts?

I tell people I am apolitical but think there is no fuckin way any politician should become a millionaire and stay in office until they die. Or get free healthcare, extra housing allowance, all that time off and be able to vote to give themselves raises for the bang up job they're doing

Whether he hates Trmp or loves Tump he should still be your friend. People have different ideas, but the beauty of a person transcends those ideas. He should cherish you no matter what he thinks or you think about a politician.
weve had an on again, off again, friendship since 1982. i don't care about his political likes however when someone blasts me for mine, then you don't deserve me being your friend. i don't bash any friends with their political beliefs, however, i tend to just move on
