I love the painting above. I wonder whether it's the first recorded instance of upskirting! And that doesn't mean I condone upskirting. I don't for the record. I like the oil painting because it's well painted with a lot of imaginative suggestion going on.
This post, with poll, is about the use of sex swings as a sexual practice. A sex swing, sometimes known as a love swing or a sex sling, is designed so that someone suspended by the swing can have sex with a person or persons standing by the swing.

Though varied in their design, most sex swings have support for the back and bottom of the person suspended in a harness, plus stirrups for each leg.
As well as sex swings with their own supporting frame, there are also door sex swings which can be quite quickly installed in a doorway though movement is somewhat restricted compared to other types of swings.

My then partner and I bought a sex swing. Sex swings aren't cheap. The idea was to instal the sex swing at our parties, thinking it would be at least an icebreaker. We did have a swing room but we quickly found that it wasn't used much so we sold it to another swinging couple. Though we bought quite a sturdy swing, we were concerned that there may be an accident. It's not a look good if guests take the hosts to court because of an injury incurred at a sex party. The benefits were too low, and the costs/risks were too high. The swing had to go; it also took a bit of time setting up, time that could have been better spent elsewhere preparing for our parties. We found a hot tub was a much better icebreaker than a swing.

My view of sex swings is that the idea of a sex swing is far better than the practice. I once stood by a swing as a participant while a woman was sitting in a swing. But it quickly dawned on me that there really wasn't anything I could usefully do so I walked off and left the woman with two other men hanging around.
Perhaps slightly it was male competition that put me off sex swings. But when I used a sex swing with my partner privately, I found the whole experience quite a turn-off. I'm not going to get off by just just pushing her so she she could swing in the air. Sex, both oral and vaginal sex, was difficult. Every attempted sexual act made her swing away from me. There was no mattress, no floor nor wall which to thrust against! It was a highly frustrating experience.

Our group had a sex swing permanently installed in one of our party rooms. A friend decided to be the party favor for her own birthday and climbed in the swing. About my only experience with a sex swing was when one of the blogger-babes I was visiting and I went to Mon-Chalet (see Mon Chalet Friends). Our suite had one. On the basis of my single experience, I wouldn't recommend a sex swing.
